Triple Drop Sets: DOUBLE your fat loss by increasing your growth hormone using this little-known workout tactic.
Do this workout regimen only once or twice per week AFTER your regular workout. It will increase
your growth hormones by increasing the lactic acid in your muscles. These growth hormones will help you burn a lot more fat off your body. (Now it goes without saying that your nutrition has to be healthy!)
Ladies: No need to worry about getting big and “bulky” using this workout and increasing growth hormone. It’s important for you as well if you want to increase your fat-burning potential.
Triple Drop Sets Workout Chart:
Pick a body part you’d like to see improve. In this video Shaun is demonstrating with the bicep curl.
Have 3 different weights ready to go:
Keeps elbows close to the body and tighten butt cheeks for better control and proper form.
Weight (lbs)* Reps
40 8-12 Count 1 (lift and exhale) then Count 1-2-3-4 (lower and inhale)
30 8-12 Count 1 (lift and exhale) then Count 1-2-3-4 (lower and inhale)
20 8-12 Count 1 (lift and exhale) then Count 1-2-3-4 (lower and inhale)
*Select weights based on your current strength level.

Here’s a little more science behind this approach:
Our energy comes from something called Glucose. Through a series of very complicated steps the glucose
is broken down into pyruvate. When we engage in strenuous exercise, our muscles need more
oxygen and that’s why we breather faster and heavier.
Now if there is plenty of oxygen available to you (during less strenuous exercise such as walking in a park with your dog) the pyruvate is shuttled through the aerobic pathway and you get more energy to sustain the activity).
BUT what if there is not enough oxygen being delivered to the muscles (such as during more strenuous exercise such as heavy lifting or running away from a bear who has discovered that her three cubs are missing)?
What happens then? The pyruvate forms lactate (lactic acid) which lasts approximately 1-3 minutes. This allows for glucose to continue to be broken down anaerobically.
You know that burning sensation you get when lifting heavy? You’re producing lactic acid. The good news is that as soon as more oxygen (by slowing down or taking deeper breathes) gets to the muscles the lactic acid reverts back to pyruvate and the burning stops. Whew!
Enjoy the workout!
