Stubborn Belly Fat and How to Remove it:
I think you would probably agree with me that old-school, slow-paced cardio (and even intervals) can get boring at times.
That’s why it’s vitally important to keep it fresh and use methods that can increase the effectiveness as your body adapts to this type of exercise.
So here’s a really cool way that you can use short bouts of traditional, low intensity cardio while making high intensity intervals MORE effective at the same exact time.
Remember, when you perform intervals or short, intense bursts of exercise (especially in a fasted state), your body will release specific fat burning hormones called:
I know it’s a big, scientific word, but stick with me…
Catecholamines are “fight-or-flight” hormones released by the adrenal glands.
They eventually convert to dopamine, to norepinephrine, and epinephrine, which ultimately forces the release of free fatty acids.
In other words, these catecholamines help break apart stubborn belly fat, which releases fat into the blood stream.
This is a pretty sweet deal, until an unwanted process called “re-esterification” takes place and your body starts re-storing the fat you just released.
And unless you know how to “burn off” these free fatty acids you could very likely be a victim of “re-esterification.”
This is where the steady state cardio exercise trick will help you burn off this “residual” stubborn belly fat that’s floating around in the blood stream.
Here’s the simple protocol you need to follow two or three times a week if your goal is to burn off stubborn belly fat or break apart trouble spots of cellulite.
1. Warm up for 5 minutes (lowers insulin, prevents injury, increases
blood flow to trouble spots).
2. Perform five 10 to 30 seconds intervals (bursts of high intensity exercise or sprints) with about 30 seconds to a minute recovery in between to help break apart and release stubborn belly fat in the form of free fatty acids.
3. Walk slow for 5 minutes while the free fatty acids continue to be released into your blood stream.
Now you’re in the perfect spot to burn off these residual free fatty acids that are floating around and prevent them from re-storing.
4. Now it’s time for the steady state cardio trick. Just walk briskly or jog at a low intensity for 10 to 30 minutes after you’re done and you’ll “burn off” the Free Fatty Acids.
This is an advanced technique and should only be executed two to three times per week max.
If you go crazy and try this everyday it will backfire in only a few short weeks.
You’ll over train, possibly get injured, and stress out your adrenal glands.
In fact, adrenal fatigue is one of the most insidious, hidden problems that could be draining your energy and stopping your fat-loss.
Here’s a science-based 30 second trick you can use daily to prevent this from happening and take control of your body’s #1 fat-burning hormone.
