I believe in moderation. I eat tofu on occasion, but not everyday. I watch what I eat, I am a vegetarian too.

@Cecilia
There is a very big difference in the soy that the Japanese eat. Asian soy is "fermented" which is an extensive process that removes the soy toxins. It's mainly used as a condiment - not added as a cheap filler in their food supply. When Asians adopt Western diets, they develop the same health problems as we do.

Over 60% of the food on our grocery store shelves have some form of soy...you have to know what to look for because it's hidden in other ingredients.

To find out where the soy is hidden visit http://www.hiddensoy.com and also take the soy quiz to learn if you may have a soy intolerance.

@Cecilia
It's the TYPE of soy the Japanese eat and have eaten...again do your research. We don't say things that aren't true.

The Japanese use many other healthy foods and have many other healthy habits that we have never adopted. Plus, the media has misled you to believing the statement you just wrote above.

Thanks for the great info! It's always nice to read something that goes against what the mainstream just assumes is a certain way.

If this were true, the Japanese would be obese before they started eating a western diet.

@Dr. Tom Yarnell
Like I said in my video Tom, I'm not an expert on soy or a scientist, but here's some of the science and truth behind my claims.

http://www.truthaboutabs.com/soy-foods-make-you-fat.html

I don't have a hidden agenda against soy, I just want people to be aware they're being misled by marketing and advertising. Just like prescription meds have their place to help people, they're also one of the top 5 killers in America.

Anyway, thanks for listening to my video and I encourage you to do your own research. I would never talk about stuff I can't back up. Have a great weekend.
