    1. Judy Bee says:

What is the portion and content of a shake? How much protein and water or yogurt?

    2. Judy Bee says:

I plan to do this for 2 weeks (at home and can control it). I need to drop about 5-7 lbs. If I don’t lose it by 2 weeks I’ll do it again when I am not traveling. I am doing well maintaining on macro but have had a little gain that I want off. jb

    3. Shaun says:

Hi Judy! 25 grams of protein…women….35 grams for men.

An example would be one and a half scoops of vanilla whey….blended with 1/2 cup frozen berries (men can use 1 cup)…and water (amount will vary depending on what desired thickness you want).

OR…you could use skip the berries and eat or mix in 1/2 cup of light-low sugar yogurt….hope this helps!

Let us know how it goes.
      Shaun

    4. Cherie says:

I plan to do this for three weeks, and then we will be traveling for about 1 1/2 weeks. If I get good weight loss results, I may continue until I start back to school teaching. However, I am not really accustomed to following the macro-patterning lifestyle yet, so I am still working my way through this plan. I just need to get some results so that I will know that this stuff really works.

    5. Audrey says:

Okay Shaun, starting on Monday. I’ve lost 25# following Wendy’s plan. It’s the only thing that’s worked for me, while incorporating my workout and clean-eating. The weight has stagnated so I’m up to changing it up a bit. I’m committed for 3 weeks beginning on Monday morning! Thanks Shaun!

    6. Sharon says:

I plan to do this for 3-1/2 weeks and then I am going on vacation for a week. When I get back I will either do this for the rest of the summer or start the regular macro-patterning plan. I would like to lose 10 lbs. and drop a clothes size before my trip.

When I start macro-patterning, should I start with the 7 day deplete?

    7. Jeanette says:

I could do this for 2….possibly 3 weeks. No longer. I know me and I know I would be ready to break out of that cycle and start on the macro-patterning program. I would like to lose around 8 lbs. of fat. I’m small to begin with but do have the dreaded layer of fat around the midsection and hip, backside area that most of us women have problems with. I vary between a size 2-6 depending on the clothes but I would just like to be comfy in them and not have any spillage. (-:

    8. @ Sharon…. It’s really optional depending on where you’re at Sharon. You can start again with the 7 day diet if you need a boost and as long as you haven’t done it in a while. But if your results are great and you’re on track…just skip the 7 DD and go right into the macro-patterning.

Always save the 7 Day Diet for when your REALLY need it.

Just keep in mind you might not get the huge weight drop that you normally would if you decide to do the 7 day deplete after being really consistent…it works much greater when you’ve been off track for a while. Just wanted to clarify. :-)

Let us know how it goes!

    9. Sandy says:

I’m just finishing my second week on the plan, and I will probably try this after another week of macro-patterning. I’m still trying to learn/familiarize myself with this form of eating, and perhaps I need to wait a week or two. I have a total of 30 pounds to lose, and I’m just hoping for a steady loss until I reach my goal. Also, I’m suffering from a knee injury, so I’m not able to participate in intense cardio until that issue is resolved.

    10. Melissa says:

What do you have on the fasting day? I’m just worried my blood sugar would drop too low (not a diabetic or anything).

    11. Melissa says:

I guess I think of fasting as not eating at all

    12. Carolyn says:

Hi Shaun, I’m 54 years young and have 1 boy, 11 yrs old…(ouch) I need the energy to keep up with him and work a full time business as well… SO, I plan to do this for the next 3 weeks and then take off one week and start up for another 3 weeks. This will take me to the end of August. I have read both of Wendy’s books and I know you and Wendy were both amazing together. I’m convinced that tricking ones metabolism is the only true way to continued fat loss! Last Summer I did the hCG diet and lost a considerable amount of weight (65 lbs) but I have gained back about 10 of those lbs. I’m not going to let another ounce sneak up on me yet… I’m done with dieting! I want to live and eat normally. Get Lean in 12 is my answer. I would like to loose about 15-20 lbs more of fat and I will be exactly in the place I want to be! I am very active and I love your HIIT. I suffered a tennis injury in May and should be back on the treadmill or running the beach real soon…

    13. Toni says:

Hi Shaun, I am starting the ULTIMATE Summer Fat Burning Nutrition Cycle diet today. I am interested in losing about 2 dress sizes and get my body fat count down to a healthy level. I was wondering if I should take a multi-vitamin everyday along with the Liportopic before each workout? Also, how much Lipotropic should I take?

      Thanks,
      Toni

    14. Hi Toni….we definitely recommend you take a multi-vitamin (we actually have a special liquid formula we’re releasing right now) but NEVER take it before a workout. You always want to take it with food so the vitamins and minerals don’t upset your stomach and you can get max absorption.

You should take 3 lipotropics before a workout and 3 after a workout with plenty of water.

Glad to hear you’re starting the plan and looking forward to hearing about your success!
      Blessings.
      Shaun

    15. Sharon says:

      Hi Shaun,

I started the ULTIMATE Summer Fat Burning Nutrition Cycle diet today. I am a bit hungry, but I just have a few hours to go. Could you explain the Mandatory Weight Lifting? How many reps.? What kind of rest?

Do you take the lipotropics with weight workouts or just cardio?

      Thanks,
      Sharon

    16. kristen says:

Hi Shaun. I do like the ideas of the Ultimate Cycle. I currently have been following the macro patterns since January and totally believe the body is a scientific machine. I currently am finishing up the Beach Body meal plan this week. I am fairly hungry on this one. I will definately keep this one in my notes to give a try in the future weeks ahead. ( the fasting days sound soooo long!!) Thanks for your tips and success stories!!!

    17. Chris Mitchell says:

I need to loose 60 lbs or dress sizes. I have lost 20 lbs while macro patterning but haven’t done much exercise yet.

    18. Laura says:

      Hi Shaun,
I plan on using this plan for at least 3 weeks. It seems very doable, especially in the summer months. I hope to lose at least 5 pounds and 1 dress size. I’ll let you know how it’s going as I progress.
Thanks for sharing such important info.

    19. Cindy says:

      Hi Shaun,

I will be finishing the 7 day deplete on Tuesday (started last Wed so when day 4 HIT I would be at home and could deal with it better). I lost 6#’s in the first four days and hope to see atleast 2 more off by Wed morning.

My question is this, can I go from the 7 day deplete into the Metabolic Manipulation or should I go straight into Macro Patterning? I actually would like to Macro Pattern through this Sunday and start this Monday. Is this wise? I need to loose atleast another 40-50#’s.

      Thanks, Cindy

    20. @Cindy: Hi Cindy! Yes, you can absolutely go straight to Metabolic Manipulation from the 7 day deplete. And “yes” you can macro-pattern through Sunday and start on Monday if you desire.

You’ll get tremendous results if you follow this plan (we promise:-)

Keep us posted on your progress and “Congrats” on your Deplete Week success! Great job.

      Shaun

    21. Sheri says:

When do you do the post fasting meal?? And what do you do on the deplete day?? I have about ten pounds to loose and thought I might try this.
